Terms of Service

simplyplaced is a tool for placing images of your artwork into room scenes, with frames, mats, and shadows, so you can show your work on your website, in your shop, and on social media.

The room scenes are illustrations that we choose and set up. They are AI-assisted and are not photographs of real spaces. They exist to help present your art, and we don't promise that any scene, size, or lighting is a precise preview of how a piece will look in a particular home.

• You keep all rights to your artwork. We don't claim any ownership of it.
• Your artwork is processed in your browser and isn't uploaded to our servers.
• You promise that you have the right to use any image you place in simplyplaced, and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights.
• You may use the mockups you create to promote and sell your own work, on your website, in your shop, and on social media.
• You may not resell or redistribute our room scenes on their own, or use them to build a competing service.

You can try simplyplaced without an account. To export without a watermark, sign in with an email code or Google. Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.

• Free: 3 mockups a month, with no watermark when you're signed in.
• Basic: $4.99 a month for up to 20 mockups a month.
• Premium: $9.99 a month for unlimited mockups.
• Exports from visitors who aren't signed in always carry a watermark. If you go past your monthly limit, you can keep exporting, and the extra exports are watermarked until your month resets.

Plan names, prices, and limits can change. If they change for a plan you pay for, we'll tell you before it affects your next payment.

Paid plans are subscriptions that renew every month until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe, and you authorize us to charge your payment method each month.

You can cancel any time from the account menu using Manage billing. You'll keep your paid plan until the end of the period you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again. We don't refund partial months, except where the law requires us to.

Please don't:

• use simplyplaced for anything unlawful, or to make images that infringe someone else's rights;
• try to get around your plan's limits or remove watermarks by technical means;
• attack, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the service, or access other people's accounts or data.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

We work to keep simplyplaced running and improving, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may change or remove features, and we may update these terms. When we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date on this page, and if you keep using simplyplaced after that, you accept the new terms.

simplyplaced is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales, or for any loss beyond the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law that can't be limited by contract.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
